On Tuesday 3rd July 2019, Hedgehog and Rabbit class visited the Safari park to have 'a great day out'. They spotted lots of different animals on the safari and enjoyed completing their eye spy booklets, learning about which animals were carnivores and which were herbivores. After the Safari, they had lunch and continued their adventure where they showed bravery exploring the bat cave and 'lorikeet landing' where birds came to say hello. They learnt fun facts about sea lions during the sea lion show and used their phonic knowledge to help read the interesting dinosaur and ice age names. The children were a real credit to Joseph Turner and everyone had a brilliant day with the sun shining.
