Welcome Back! The children have settled in well after the Christmas break and have enjoyed getting started on their new topic 'Welcome to the Jungle'

Aspirations Day 

Take a look at the brilliant engagement in attendance dress up day on Thursday 15th January 2026. The theme for this day was aspirations - What do you want to be? Both staff and children got involved, take a look at some of the brilliant jobs our Tigers come up with. 

Science – The circulation system

This half-term year 6 has been exploring the circulatory system and the functions of the heart. Through practical and hands-on learning, Year 6 has identified what makes up blood, how blood is pumped around our bodies and why the heart is an important organ. PE - Circuit Training 

This half-term has seen a change to our PE. Year 6 have been introduced to circuit training. Each Tuesday morning, 8 new stations are set up in the hall to challenge our students. Each week there is a new focus looking at building the pupils' strengths and endurance. Children have explored how their heart rate changes as a direct result of exercise and challenged themselves to perform more reps than they have previously been able to.
