We have had lots of fun making patterns with shape this week. We used 2d and 3d shapes to create them.
In science this week we had lots of fun learning about how to care for plants. We did an experiment so we could observe over time how a seed germinates and turns into a plant. Take a look at our window when you come to collect us.
This week in art we had lots of different fruits out on the table for us to explore in order for us to make them using the clay. We used all the skills we learnt last week and made some amazing sculptures.
We started our new art topic this week. Giuseppe Arcimboldo is a famous Artist who creates fruit faces. We are sculpting modelling clay in the style of Giuseppe’s fruit faces. This week we experimented with the clay using various skills such as, rolling, pinching, squeezing and stretching.
