Separating and Changing materials - Science 

In our science lessons, we have looked at different states and how to separate materials that have been mixed together.  We have looked at sieving, using tweezers and magnets to separate a range of solids and we have looked at filtering for separating solids from liquids.

Art

As part of our art studies this half term, we are looking at Greek pottery!  We have looked at examples and their uses and have designed our own.  Over the next few weeks, we will be putting our skills to the test and making our own Greek pots from clay.  Watch this space for photos of our creations!

Online Safety

Across the term children have been delving into life online and why it is important to keep ourselves safe. As part of one of the lessons children focused on a range of social media apps they access at home. We discussed the importance of following the rules and discussed age restrictions. They created posters to teach others about the importance of staying safe online both at home and at school.
