Black Country Living Museum - 2025

Year 5 had an amazing adventure at the Black Country Living Museum! Even though the weather was a bit chilly, the children didn’t let it stop them from exploring everything the museum had to offer.

They wandered through old-fashioned houses from different eras, peeked into quirky shops, and discovered how people lived long before smartphones, microwaves, and central heating existed! The highlight for many was heading down into the mine—dark, chilly, and a little spooky—and learning just how tough life was for miners in the past.

It was a day packed with fun, curiosity, and lots of “Wow, is this what it was REALLY like?!” moments. A brilliant trip all round!
