VE Day Celebrations at Our School!

What a fantastic week it has been as our children commemorated VE Day! A massive thank you to the Tipton Civic Society for generously gifting our pupils their very own peace cards. Our school was a sea of red, white, and blue as children donned their patriotic colours with pride! Throughout the week, learners engaged in a variety of enriching activities, including creating vibrant posters and flags, all in the spirit of unity and remembrance. A Fun-Packed Bank Holiday Adventure for a Lucky Pupil!

What an exciting bank holiday for an amazing Year 3 pupil! He embarked on an unforgettable adventure filled with fascinating creatures and wonderful surprises. From spotting a tarantula to marvelling at a hissing cockroach, he experienced hands-on learning at its finest! Can you find the elusive snake and the vibrant parakeets in the photos below? Exploring the Artistic World of Annie Albers!

This week in our Art classes, our talented young artists are diving into the vibrant world of Annie Albers! Inspired by her innovative use of colour, pattern, and shape, they’re discovering how these elements can transform their creations. As part of their journey, the children have begun practising the technique of overlapping materials, an essential skill as they prepare for their weaving projects. Rock Star Day: A Huge Success!

What an absolutely amazing day we had at school! Mrs Harrison launched a special Rock Star Day to encourage our students to improve their attendance, and it was a smashing hit! From glittering outfits to electric hairstyles, our talented students rocked the stage in the most fabulous costumes you've ever seen!  It's incredible to see their enthusiasm and creativity shine through. Well Done, Parrots Class!

A huge congratulations to our incredible Parrots Class! Today, they performed their class assembly to proud parents and carers, showcasing the theme of fairness. They wrote their very own heartfelt poems and sang songs with such enthusiasm that it warmed our hearts! We couldn't be prouder of their creativity and confidence on the stage. Your hard work and dedication truly shone through! Keep flying high, Parrots Class! 

Baggie Bird Penalty Shootout for Charity! 

What a fantastic day at Joseph Turner Primary School as our Year 3 children took part in the exhilarating Baggie Bird Penalty Shootout! The enthusiasm was infectious as everyone gave their all to score those all-important goals for charity. A massive well done to each and every one of our budding football stars for their incredible effort and teamwork!  Your determination to make a difference shines brighter than ever. Together, we raised funds for a worthy cause, proving that even small actions can lead to big changes. Thank you to all the parents and staff for your support!
