Autumn 2

This half term we have been learning about the geography of Europe and the physical and human features of different European countries, including famous landmarks, rivers and population.

We have also learnt about evolution. The children especially enjoyed an experiment where we collected rice using different equipment, to represent how birds with different shape beaks would have survived and been able to reproduce.

Additionally, we received an anti-bullying workshop, that was supported by P.C. Treasure. The children found this really engaging, as we learnt about the laws surrounding bullying and how it could impact us as they continue to develop.

Finally, we visited RAF Cosford to link to our overall topic of WW2. Children really enjoyed our workshop about Christmas during the war. They also enjoyed looking at the RAF planes from recent history.
