We love Maths at Joseph Turner Primary!
At Joseph Turner Primary, we have devised a calculation booklet which teachers and pupils use to cement in place strategies that will support Maths skill acquisition. The booklets are set out into 4 key areas - addition, subtraction, multiplication and division - and show different strategies that will be taught to the children during their Maths lessons. There are examples of how we can use concrete, pictorial and abstract examples to support understanding.
