Home Learning

Welcome to Summer Term Year 4!

We hope you and your families are all well.

Below you will find a series of learning resources to continue to support your child at home during this time of school closure.

There is a suggested weekly timetable and resources to match the activities. The timetable has links to websites and web pages the children need for some lessons.

Timetables and resources will be updated at the end of each week, ready for children to complete the following week.

You may wish to print off the resources and complete them if you have a printer available at home. If not, children can complete the work on paper and take photos to upload to SeeSaw.  Many of the papers are already on SeeSaw to complete.

Work can also be sent to us using the email addresses below.

Toucans@jtpschool.org

Hummingbirds@jtpschool.org

You can also use these email addresses to ask any questions about the work that we are setting the children to complete at home. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Please carefully read the Class Email Protocols using this link to the school’s website.

Thank you for your continued support in these unusual times.

The Timeline/Daily timetable is a possible way to help spend the  children's days with different activities and online events.

Hi All,

Here is a lovely maths link with a variety of maths activities.  It can be used without signing up.

Above are some times table games ideas.  Some need printing, but most could be created by children themselves.

Also, attached is a Home Learning Booklet with Maths activities.   Many would require printing, but some could be used for ideas for children to record themselves.

Here is a correct the punctuation of the sentences sheet for children to complete.

If it cannot be printed, then children could copy out onto paper.

Also, here is a reading paper with questions and answers.  Children can read and answer on print outs or record answers on spare papers.

Here is a selection of website links and activities that children can do whilst at home.

Children should know their Reading Plus/Oxford Reading Buddy and Rock Star Maths login details.

Thank you

A few more links and ideas for Reading, Maths and Spellings.

Here are a couple more links that should help with home learning.

The first link gives activity ideas across age ranges and will be updated every 2 weeks.

We will upload as we get them.
