Discovering Hinduism: A Journey Through Artefacts
We had an enriching day as our children delved into the fascinating world of Hinduism! In small groups, they explored a range of artefacts, putting on their detective hats to guess their uses and significance in Hindu culture. This hands-on experience not only ignited their curiosity but also deepened their understanding of this vibrant faith. To add to the excitement, the children were introduced to a special Hindu story, sparking their imaginations and encouraging discussions about its meanings and morals. PE in Year 3
What an exhilarating day in PE! Our students had a fantastic time engaging in a lively game of dodgeball, where they honed their skills in movement, dodging, throwing, and catching! Watching our young athletes navigate the court with agility and determination was truly inspiring. Not only did they develop their physical abilities, but they also embraced teamwork and sportsmanship. It’s all about building confidence and having fun!

Celebrating Bob Marley’s Legacy in Our School!
This week, our talented children have been diving into the vibrant world of music as they explore the timeless songs of the legendary Bob Marley! They have been learning the rhythms and messages of peace, love, and unity that Marley's music embodies. We can't wait for them to showcase their talent in a special singing assembly at the end of the school year! Building Greenhouses: Year 3 Gets Hands-On!
Our Year 3 students have been buzzing with excitement as they dive into the world of greenhouses! Over the past few weeks, they’ve been planning the materials needed and putting their creativity to the test by starting to build their very own greenhouse.
It's wonderful to see the budding engineers and eco-warriors in action, learning the importance of sustainability while having fun. From sketches to structures, our young learners are not only gaining teamwork skills but also understanding how plants thrive in controlled environments. Year 3's Exciting Adventure to Weston-super-Mare!
What a fantastic day out for our Year 3 students! Our young explorers ventured to the beautiful Weston-super-Mare, where learning and fun went hand in hand.
They delved into the wonders of nature, discovering the tide and the water cycle, while also exploring various human and physical features along the beach. The children unleashed their creativity by sketching the stunning beach landscape, building magnificent sandcastles, and even enjoyed a delightful ride on a donkey! And of course, no trip to the seaside is complete without some scrumptious ice cream! Thank you to everyone who made this memorable day possible. It’s moments like these that inspire our pupils to learn outside the classroom!
